5513 with 1.9mill seri
Hey, how much does it hurt in value if a watch with 1.9mill seri has a pre comex dial?

Yes I know that it should be a meter first, thats why I am asking how much does it hurt the value if it has a pre comex dial?

Yes, it drastically changes it as the dial is a very good portion of the watches value. And to be honest Im not liking that watch much at all.

Any competent watchmaker who is familiar with vintage Rolex, can replace that smudge dial with a MF dial.
Let me stress Competent. There are risks involved when you open a vintage watch though.. like Tritium flaking off the dial or hands, dial being damaged, improper sealing, improper installation of the movement back to the case etc. So taking into the account the risks, make an offer you feel is fair, granted everything else is genuine on that 1.9mil.

its original dial, but still a very nice vintage piece. I'd leave it alone and enjoy it. |

Need more and better photos of the lugs for questions about the case, but regardless, the price seems high for that watch, IHMO. I'd want the original dial for that kind of money. There are better Subs out there in the $7K-$8K range.

Oh, I see. I'd contact Jacek about shipping/taxes to Europe. I'm sure he sends all over the world and knows what's what. Good luck.
