Very nice. A true PAM connoisseur. Love the new 689 and of course the 359 (As i own one).

Just my .02 on watch straps as i have a huge collection. Personally don't have an dangerous 9 straps but have heard good things. I would also consider Ted Su Straps, he's a little expensive but does nice work and has many different skins. Don't be scared to call them and ask them what other skins they could get on special order. Another company i have a couple straps from is DeLuca Straps made in San Diego, CA. Also does some interesting stuff and made in the USA.

Congrats Paul! They are both great watches. I had a 359 at one point and sold it to fund others. One of the ones I sometimes think about. But that blue dial is something else! Huge congrats on the blue, it is stunning and very very unique. I think a blue jeans canvas strap would look incredible, I had one for my 372 and received lots of compliments! I am also very impressed with the birthday treatment from Panerai, great stuff! Happy birthday

Thanks, Brandon

I've had a look at Ted Su's website and, assuming it's the same one (based in Taiwan), then he's cheaper than OE Panerai. I'm going to see what Dangerous 9 come back with before I look elsewhere because I'm really impressed with Speed's lizard teju.

It's amazing in the flesh, right up there with Rolex sunburst, for sure

You won't be disappointed, Mik. Trust me on that one. I'll get a few more shots posted when I back home from Cambodia

Thank you, Nick

I'm still a very surprised to have walked away with the 689. It was only when we turned up on Thursday evening to collect what I thought was going to be the 533 (as per your advice - go for the one that really sings) and the 312. My guy at the boutique said when I walked in that he had something to show me before he brought out my 533 and then reappeared with the 689. No way was I walking away from the 689, it's a magnificent piece.

As for the 359, I really wanted one from the off but was going to go with the 312 because of the similarities between the 533 and 359. Switching to the 689 left me free to pick up the 359. So walking out with something I thought I had no chance of getting and my original second choice made for a very happy ending.

Not sure about a canvas strap but certainly a denim blue sounds good. I can't wait to see what John at Dangerous 9 comes back with

Wow! That is a fantastic pickup! I have been wanting the 689 ever since I saw it. I nearly bought the 533 last year but held off as I wasn't sold on the stealthed out hands.

Damn that 689 is nice... unfortunately there is no Boutique in my country but will check out the boutiques in the countries I visit soon.

Congratulations on that 689. It looks like a stunner. My D-blue sings to me but the 689 seems to invoke a similar feeling! Must be beautiful in person. Lucky guy, again congrats and enjoy!
