Porsche 911r

So the much talked about and much hyped 911r has begun its journey over here.
Some love...some not so much but it's certainly polarizing.
Question is - even if you love it...would you pay over 1M for it?

Well that's just crazy.

Even if you have endless money, not sure that car makes a heck of a lot of sense. I suppose if I'm Seinfeld or Leno, it'd be a great addition for the garage. But wow. That's a lot of cheddar.

That's just stupid. I could get a GT4, GT3, and probably a GTRS for that much. Or a new R8 V10 Plus and an Aventador...both which have more curb appeal and would provide more exhilarating ownership.

911R for a million, so much lol.

I would get the Ford Mustang with 800 hp for about 80-90 k and have lots of left over money

First one for sale on the open market - should be interesting.
As a P car lover, I get a lot of what this car has to offer...but that's just nutso.
Know of lots of guys waiting to wire money to get hold of one of these that didn't get an allocation, but this might be pushing the envelope.

When the 991.2 GT3 comes with a manual, that will cool down the R pricing a bit.

This. Though I'm rather less thralled by Porsche's sports cars as the days go by...and its a shame because I've had most of them and spent a lot of time and love with the brand. IMHO.

I'd much rather have a gt3rs and pocket the rest.
