Back on the Bracelet
I put the ExpII back on the bracelet last night and it totally gives the watch a different look. In fact, I find that when it's on the bracelet, it wears smaller. I can only surmise this is because the bracelet sits closer to the skin, and because I have a butterfly deployment, on the strap it sits a litte further away from the skin.
I like it on the strap more, personally... but it's nice to have options. |

It's nice being able to switch back and forth. I do it with my Sub, between the bracelet and the NATO. It's like having two different watches

Atomic,
Do you have the new case on your Exp2 with no holes on the lug sides? If so would you tell me how you remove the Oyster bracelette w/o scratches? Thanks, Mrdi |

Although I've never tried on a non-hole case, I would imagine it's a matter of working the spring bar between the case and end link and simultaneously applying pressure on the bracelet end link (to work it free) and squeezing the pin out. All done from behind the case, of course. |

It absolutely IS nice! I have a WIS-in-training colleague who right away commented on me swapping the strap for the bracelet. He agrees that it works equally well either way (I'm training him well). He actually said he's going to buckle down and get a Rolex to go with his SMP, Oris tank and Baume. BTW, what other place? This is the only place worth going to (well, and of course our neighbors ). |

Very nice J, I love the ability to change it up!! I actually wore the YM today to feel some steel on the wrist. As soon as I got home I changed, but it did get a day out in the sun.

Beautiful countryside, Peter. Gonna have to get there one of these days.
As for the bracelet/strap dichotomy, after looking at the pics, I still say the bracelet looks so much better than the strap. OK, so call me a reactionary and a stick-in- the-mud, but that's MO, and I'm sticking to it.

Ed, come over to the dark side. I'll bet if you got a nice, curved-end strap (i.e. one that sits up snug around the curvature of the case) that you'd be convinced your GMT on a strap looks great. Don't knock it 'till you've tried it. |
