When you see this dial on the D-Blue in different lighting you won't be able to keep your eyes off of it. It is truly amazing . I only paid $12,250 from my AD that just happen to have one in stock at their other store the black dial was only $300 less then the blue dial.

Black is the only way to go! Ask your self did he wear the deep blue? For me it's a way for rolex to shift more DSSD's |

Love DSSD blue but if the money is an issue you can buy pre-owned Black for 5500 GBP which in current exchange rate is a steal.

If you can, go DBlue!! I've had both at the same time, I still have the blue, and always will. BTW...my wrists are 6.5 in. Good luck!

Talk of the premium over the black dial never cease to amaze me; it's £250 difference in the MSRP between the two. I also don't understand the suggestions that people should pick up the black dial for a significant saving (taking discounts and/or used market into consideration). What I struggle with is if someone wants a blue dial then what would they settle for a black dial? You want what you want and settling for an alternative does not usually lead to a happy purchase. To put it another way, if a man was madly in love with a girl but couldn't have her, would he settle for her 'less attractive' sister? Probably not a smart move.

The blue is a little gimmicky to me. I vote black. I've been wearing mine everyday for the past few months.

I've D-Blue but I think black looks equally cool. Black looks a bit more classic IMO.

The height you get used to after a day or so. I wear it like any of my others. Loose enough to put the first part of my pinkie finger thru. Wears like a PM piece, weight wise.

Been wearing mine daily for nearly 3 years. You really don't notice the size, height etc once you get the proper fitment for it.

In June I was at my local AD to see if they had a Daytona 500 in stock, and low and behold, there I saw the DBlue. The rest as they say is history It's a truly mesmerizing dial and it truly must be seen to be appreciated. |

Let's Go Blue!!
Owned a black DSSD, but saw blue in person and it's stunning. If I go again, it will be D-blue all the way! Remember, blue is more, but holds more value too... |

I loved my D-blue but it got old fast, I preffer the classic black look of my DSSD.

The black all the way, the original Deep Sea...
The blue to me seems less classic Rolex diver to me. I just can't take the blue serious. I feel the same about the BLNR.

Deep Blue is beautiful but you can pick up a nice preowned black dial for $8k. Hard for me to justify the price differential
