Every Rolex is sweet. Even the ones I don't like.

I do not have a sub (yet), but I think the best all around Rolex that pretty much any Rolex enthusiast could afford/ trade for AND is liked by the majority is the sub.

(Sorry, super run on sentence.)

Buy what you like and who cares what anyone else thinks. Not a good way to live life worried what everyone thinks...

Anything popular is going to have haters. Look at any youtube video by a celebrity (e.g. a Miley Cyrus song) -- the comment section will be full of vitriol.

Haters are impossible to appease. Whether you're wearing a Sub, Day Date, Explorer, G Shock, Casio calculator watch, or no watch at all, some sad individuals will find a reason to hate.

Ignore them. Or better yet, make them choose a flavor from below

Pick any product: cars, bikes, cameras, pens, clothes, shoes etc. etc.

The issue is the same.

Life would be boring otherwise.

I often times like the product more when someone else doesn't.

My dd40 WG gets all sorts of shade. I could not be happier with it.

You can find a reason to like or dislike just about anything. It's all in your head.

My love of my 16710 outweighs the opinion of anyone who doesn't like it.
Of course everyone is welcome to join the love fest.

Whom do you choose to please, yourself or every opinionated knucklehead on the planet?

I've been wearing my Orient Bambino for about a week, including to my AD today to pick up a hardbound Rolex catalog that had just come in.

How many WISes are going to be impressed with an Orient Bambino?

Why should I care? I like it.

When I stopped worrying about what others thought and started buying watches that I truly enjoyed wearing is when I stopped flipping watches. Before that I would buy a watch and be influenced by negative opinions and eventually flip for the next watch I thought I would enjoy. Now I just buy what I like and enjoy wearing. I still want to add watches to the collection but at a much slower pace.
