Not sure about this colour combo

Changed a strap for the first time last night and I'm unsure about the colours. It almost matches my shirt.

Thoughts?

Looks okay to me, but I think I'd with something a bit darker.

I have one that colour on my 359 and I have a new strap under construction with John Glance,

The powder blue is an OEM 'gator, which was thrown in free with my 689. It's not for dress, formal wear anything like that, I just wanted something completely left-field for a change.

From the pictures, it seems to work.

If that's the case, then you definitely chose a good color.

Blues of the watch and strap, the shirt or all of them? I think that's what's bothering me is the variety of blues. I'm also wearing navy keks (pants) and slightly lighter navy Cons.

Don't you bloody start! Cru's bad enough at encouraging me to empty my bank account at the OP boutique

Thanks guys. I'm beginning to think it works but not with the mish-mash of blue clothing. I never claimed to be a fashionisti anyway

Paul the watch looks fine on the strap

Not too sure about the matching blue shirt with blue shorts though

Thanks, Ian

Except they're trousers, not shorts

Total failure (in my very personal opinion) :
1) that blue strap is gorgeous but it does not match AT ALL with the blue dial of the watch
2) the color of the strap is stealing the show from the real player here : the beautiful blue dial of the watch.
My 2 cents.

I'm cool with the opinions that don't think it works

Personally, I think the OEM navy blue 'gator looks way better and the 'vintage' tan that usually lives on my 359 work much better. The powder blue 'gator is very left-field and I guess it's not going to appeal to everyone, but I'm ok with that too.

I guess I'll have to buy another PAM to match the powder blue to make sure it doesn't go to waste

I like it. The great thing about Panerai is the ability to change straps easily. That piece is beautiful and I could see having many straps of different colors and shades to mix it up depending on clothing, seasons, day/night wear etc. Wear it in good health!
