Question on 92350 bracelet
Hello all!
Recently purchased a 2001 K series 16610, came with the SEL bracelet. The only thing which is questioning me, is the fact that there is no "button" to release the divers extension, I saw some websites that depicts the button, but mine doesn't have it... Bracelet is indeed original, laser etched SEL with crown and 801 on he inside. Check the pics... |

Question on 92350 bracelet
I can see it in that last pic. It's not a "button" per se, but a dot to show you where to press. It's an engraved circle.

It's not button it's a etched circle, press your thumb on it and you will rock the link to release the extension.

You could see it better in the pic you had previously. Yes, if it has a diver's extension the circle will be there, unless of course it's worn away. But I did see it in the pic you removed.

Only one link on a 93250 bracelet will have the etched circle.pictured are two 93250 clasps, the mechanism consists of 3 unique links in a row
1 is the link near the extension, it looks like an H 2 is the link with the cut out underneath 3 is the indicator link with the etched circle, yours may have been swapped for another link? Picture a see saw with the watch pin in the middle, the circle has to be pressed to pivot down that end of the link to release the extension.

I don't recall if K serials came with Swiss Made Dials (older ones like my S series 16610 have T<25 tritium dial); in any case a 15 year old dial would probably have less lume adter so many years l, so my guess was relumed or replaced at service. Perhaps someone with a K serial sub can elaborate? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Let us know if you were able to open the extension link, if so, the original 93250 bracelets may not have had the circle yet...possible it may have come later after frustrated owners were having a hard time solving the puzzle and opening the extension.
That looks like a luminova dial, just what k serial should have. Luminova wouldn't fade like tritium over time. Ps as an aside, the jacked up screw head you see in my photo is courtesy of the ham fisted, useless watch techs at RSCNY, Must have used the standard carpenters chisel to remove/replace the screw.

It is identical to all the other removable links except for the stamped circle; it is not a "button", it just shows where to press to unlock the j-link. Your bracelet will function exactly the same whether the circle is there or not. It seems to be quite common for that link to be missing when resizing because it's the first link you can remove.

I am able to open the extension, just was curious regarding the etching!
Spoke with last owner, told me he polished the bracelet, so it faded away with polishing... Swiss made dials came with K series, all K series on chrono24 have Swiss made dials. |

My 1999 Luminova still shines seemingly as new. My previous Tritiums all dimmed quickly.
