Spacers for a leather strap?

I noticed the "spacers" between the watch and the leather band in the picture (not mine; borrowed from the WRUW thread--and great looking, by the way!).

Are the "spacers" available from Rolex or another source?

I regularly wear a leather strap with my (36mm) DD, but without spacers. The spacers make it look much nicer.

Thank you.

I don't know the answer to your question of whether you can get them straight from Rolex but I believe the term is end links. That may help your search.

Here's an article about one brand's straps w/ end links.

They're called end links and you can get them for most Rolex and tudor models. I bought some from George Yeo, he's the second one on this search page:

If you are in the CONUS, you can buy the SEL from Everest Straps.

www.everestbands.com

Take a look, I bought the alligator (black) strap from them for my SubC date.

. . .
They are not "spacers" in the sense that they are added to a regular watch. They are an integral part of a strap-equipped Datejust case and are not available separately.

You have to go aftermarket for actual "spacers" made to fill in the gap.

I dunno how I feel about leather over metal bracelets on a Rolex...

But, i guess it gives it a more solid look to the watch when the ends are there.
