How did he get your email address? I can't see one in your WTB ads.

Hi Guys. Here's my post on another forum from couple weeks ago (sorry so long, but wanted full story of MO out there). Fortunately, one of our members here was kind enough to message me through this forum as he could tell I wasn't getting my PMs through other site. Yes, the scumbags have found our community and they're picking low hanging fruit. Be vigilant. Timestamped photos are easy enough For seller if they're in possession of watch. Since they can now hijack account, even good rep isn't enough of they've taken over account. Be careful.

Scammer alert post from 8/30:
franco60 - Scammer alert - my account was hacked on Monday, 8/29/16 sometime in the morning hours. I was alerted by a member at 4:24 p.m. He investigated the alleged seller and sent me PM from another forum as I wasn't receiving my PMs from WUS as they were diverted to bridggefire110@gmail. I immediately alerted members by posting on the fraudulent posts for a Rolex and Omega for sale and alerted WUS administrators who suspended my account as fast as practicable to shut down PMs from or to the hacker. They verified the PMs were being forwarded to a new email ([email protected]) and that the hack was coming from a different IP address than the one I've used since my account was opened in 2013.

However, the hacker gained access, operated my account, posted a Rolex and Omega, sent people WTB messages, and would switch people over from and then began communicating via email, and pose as franco60 for sales and potentially purchases. The PMs were being deleted quickly by him and I had no access to PMs, but I began having messages pop up on Tapatalk. Unfortunately, I could not contact people at that time but did post fraud alerts on the two sales posts I knew about. it appears to involved other watches that I can't locate.

My rep here is incredibly important and I can supply any info or documentation (screenshots, communication from administrators, etc.) to confirm I've not perpetuated any frauds. Bottom line is investigate any potential suspicious sales, confirm identities, and DO NOT SEND FUNDS to anyone not know or confirmed a this point. Change your passwords and be vigilant about your WUS and other accounts or you could be hacked. This fellow has done this across multiple accounts. I (along with admin for WUS) are hoping this can't be continued on my account through my username, but no way to tell. I'm withdrawing the few sale posts I have (couple 6309s, Scubapro 500) to ensure they're not subject to any problems.

Please PM me or alert administrator if you see anything weird under my name. I can be contacted by those who know me through other forums and I am getting those PMs.
