At the core - I am a Daytona fan.

Finally got the call. 116500 on the wrist. Loving it.

To those waiting - you won't be disappointed.

From the first in house 116520 (black) in 2000 to the white in 2007 to today with the Daytona-C.

IMO for everyday wear 40mm is optimal.

Hope to have a PM Daytona C eventually.

Congrats on the purchase! Will you be keeping the white 116520, and if so - do you find them too similar?

I'm in the same boat but it's hard to resist not trading the 116500 for a PM Daytona (different maxi case and goes on leather).

Thanks!!! Over the moon right now. Good question on the 116520 in white.

Tempted to try and source a bezel in black for the black one.

The white one might just sit in the safe. I can see the values dropping for a while but making the seemingly ubiquitous rise a few years post discontinuation.

I do have some friends wanting to buy it but I'm not all that eager to let it go.

Once the Everose chocolate dial becomes available on a bracelet some hard choices may have to be made. :)

As an owner of the 116500, I wonder if someone with a Rolex account could order the ceramic bezel for you. Assuming the internal geometry is the same (it should be as the external case is) - that'll be a great way to update your 116520.

Overrun with well wishes. Thanks fellas!

And solid tip on sourcing the bezel since I am legitimately a 116500 owner now.
