Strange experience
So, I had a member here answer one of my sales posts asking if he could do a trade.
He told me he had a 116300 with grey roman dial I told him that that model never came in a grey roman dial (116200 does) and asked for a picture. After that no response, what do you guys think?

I thinks its mighty impressive you know a116300 does not with a grey Roman dial. Kudos to you.

would you really know it was a pre-meditated attempt to scam? don't risk your online reputation on a buyer scam accusation without solid proof. that's why i said, let it go. or, escalate and see what happens... i'll get the popcorn. |

The black may appear grey to some. No reason for you to cast suspicion at this point in time for someone offering a trade... Right? He may have thought you were rude and decided not to respond. Keep us posted

If it were my watch, I would call this dial grey.

this thread backfires back to the op. Sometimes it's useful to think before posting and accuse others.

Anyways I never revealed the identity of the person and was asking what you guys thought, never accusing anyone of a scam, and even admitted I made a mistake. The person could at least have sent me a pic, i was not in any way rude and just politely asked for one, and even apologized for possibly having offended him when he didnt respond back to me and still no response. Oh well learned something new and nobody got hurt thats the main thing
