Maybe I'll Just Keep Her Afterall !

On reflection it would make a great contrast to a Patek with regard versatility in wear and look

My jaw is still dragging on the ground and if I don't stop looking at that photo I'm going to trip on it. That is by far the best pic I've seen of the Meteorite DT Steve. You MUST keep her!

Not a fan of the meteorite daytona but the photo is really nice

You have to keep it not many of them out in the wild

Excellent.

The only change I'd make to my Daytona SS would be THAT dial.

I certainly would keep it. It's an iconic Rolex and even those of us less than enamored with the Daytona love this model. If I ever buy another one it will this model or the white dialed, arabic numeral WG model. An ideal sport watch to complement a dressier Patek.

I was tempted to chip in with an offer myself Steve but I took a deep long breath and decided to "curb my enthusiasm".

I think you would have ended up regretting it had you sold it.

As another about to chip in an offer, think it would have been an error. For you I mean. I would have been on cloud 9 :)

Hi Steve
Egg on face
I had a look on the for sale section when I came on this morning and saw the thread from Chris - Dopymuppet. So remembering that you were considering selling your Daytona. I sent you both a PM about each other.
Now I feel a right clown after seeing both Chris's and your replies.
Ah well I was full of the right intentions.
Are you still looking at getting a PP in the future
