I know there is a lot of Musicians/Singers here! Reveal yourself! I myself was a Classical Guitar Player! 4 years of training in a College plus a masterclass with a once student of Andres Segovia!

Hi Erwin.
Self-taught guitar player for over 25 years, however, I was eventually taught music theory (although I am still not very good at it but get by) by an Honours graduate at the Guitar Institute of Technology (Musicians Institute).

That's how I was ( self taught ) and was in a band until I saw John Williams ( Classical guitar player ) played and that's when I decided to switch to Classical Guitar! Believe me, I struggled a lot because it's really different!

Cool!!! Don't start me off; Andrés Segovia, John Williams, John McLaughlin ,etcetera.
I find the classical discipline very hard indeed!! Then again, John Williams has admitted to not being able to play a single blues note, because he can't

I've been told I resemble lots of people but Don Henley's never been one of 'em.

I took guitar lessons from a guy who took guitar lessons from Steve Vai. Used to play in a garage band with a couple of drug pushers (pharmacists). They moved to Colorado and Texas so now I just play with myself.

Wasn't Steve Vai the devils guitarist in the movie "Crossroads" who compete with Ralph Macchio?

Yep. Bassist for various studio projects and a number of bands. Even followed Stu Hamm on one of his projects - talk about a tough audition. Studied under Josquin Des Pres and other well knowns. About 22 years into it and it is what keeps me sane!
