Thanks. It is truly a terrific watch. Just coming up on one year of ownership, and while I've flipped everything else, there is never a day that I even consider letting this one go. If Rolex could get the lume down just a bit better, I would consider this to be the perfect watch. It is pretty close to perfect just as it is. Rolex has done a fine job on this watch. |

I prefer the subs looks without the date, or at least without the eye... but isn't it the quality of being "boring", or as I would put it, of sobriety, the very thing that makes the sub iconic? It embodies a masculine elegance in its restraint. Said another way; you can rest your eyes on it, but you aren't forced to!

Fair enough...I have not put one on, so maybe that's a different story. Actually, I prefer 'busy watches' as some might classify this one...my only real complaint is the writing on the bezel...screams the name too much IMO. But, it appears there are other models w/o said writing...so maybe I should give it another look. Cheers.
