Panerai Due
So I was watching watch videos on YouTube and of coarse google target marketing put a panerai commercial before my video I was going to watch and it was advertising the new panerai Due collection. And man I must say they look gorgeous. Particularly the Pam 676. When do you think pre owned ones will hit the market. This would be my first panerai. I always thought if I was going to get a panerai it would be the base models but these really are Beutiful. What are your guys thoughts on the due collection.
All the the best, Glenn

I had an 005. I am not tall and have a thin wrist. The 676 would suit me better. The list price is nearly triple what I paid 10 yrs ago.

I am 6'7" but have 7.25 inch wrists so I would need to go see how the slimmer 676 feels. And go Rutgers...

As for the Due, there's not a lot of love for them on here but if one will make you happy then knock yourself out. As for the used market, it's hard to say but if you live in the US, I would imagine DavidSW will be able to source one at a decent price for you. Also, go visit a few ADs, you might find one will offer you a price that you're happy with. Good luck

Panerai Due
I don't like them.
The spring bars and snap on case backs turn me off. To me, those features are very un Panerai. For those reasons alone, I could never own one. |

I like the size & don't care about the depth rating that a lot of people criticize. Not sure if I like the sunburst dial-- need to see it in person.

I like the thin profile, but would prefer a matte dial

All that matters is what you want to wear on your wrist.
Personally, I find the Due to be an attractive watch, just not a Panerai. Snap back case and 30 meter rating? No thanks. It's not a Panerai if the only permitted contact with water is washing hands! 100 meter minimum. Imagine Rolex taking the Submariner and reducing the rating from 300 meters to 30. Ridiculous? Exactly. |

Nice-looking, but technically disappointing.
