Opinions on this 7021 Snowflake?
Took me a while to find a vintage snowflake that had the look I was going for, and wanted to get some quick opinions on dial, hands, etc.
I am aware that this watch has some issues not limited to: 1) date wheel disk has been replaced as well as the crystal during a service - magnification looks wrong. 2) Minor chipping of the dial at the 2 o'clock. 3) Some cracking of plots Any other major issues you guys notice? I know it is far from perfect, but trying to balance cost with function and wanted to know general thoughts aside from what is mentioned. Thanks! |

I was watching this one on the bay and it was stopped by the seller. I have never seen a 7021 age like this dial has. It's a very nice looking watch. Look at the 8 plot. A piece fell off the corner. Anyway, the dial looks more like a 9411 than a 7021. I am concerned he lume will continue to fall off the dial. What does he want for her?

I already bought it and at this point deciding if I should keep it. My hesitation is that the condition in person is a bit worse than I expected. The serials are present, but mostly faded from the incorrect end links of the bracelet. I can make out 5 of the 6 with intense light and some magnification. I am not so concerned with the cracking of the lume plots (hardly visible to the naked eye at arm's length) as I am with the chip at the 2 o'clock on the dial, which I could not notice in the seller's pictures - which I can see now that I know it is there. Anyway, just looking on some feedback of originality of the dial and hands. For the most part looks good to me. Potentially willing to overlook these individual issues as the overall look is just so cool.

Dial and hands look original to me. The ghost bezel insert is also very nice. You should buy a T25 crystal for this watch.

It is a very beautiful watch. It's hard to find one that is more attractive than this. Wear it well. I just wanted to say this as I am always (constructively!?) critiquing these models. This one shows very well

Dial was replaced - late 70s dial printing style
Worth it? Depends on price.
