Ap prices in hong kong

I'm traveling to Hong Kong soon in a couple of weeks time, and was thinking if maybe purchasing an AP over there. But I was wondering what the prices are like in Hong Kong, mainly the SS 15400, as I'm not too familiar with all the prices over there. Thanks

Depends on if you know anyone and if they have the watch in stock.

One place offered me 28% off to unload the black 15400. I wanted the white so I did not take it.

Oh wow 28%!! Damn that's amazing, would you happen to know the MSRP at AD's for the 15400?

Hongkong and Singapore are the best places in the region to shop for APs.
Yes, 28% or more is quite norm for grey dealers in HK. You can check it out at chrono24.

Even at boutique, I managed to get 15-20% off MSRP for my AP diver in HK. Can remember if it was 15% or 20%. But I know their price was very close to a few grey dealers in HK which is why I bought from this boutique.

That's interesting. I usually thought AP boutique will not discount more than a token of 5%. Maybe max 10%. Business must have been really slow. Are you talking about the AP boutique at IFC?

I agree with Ben - pricing at AP Boutique in IFC very different from ADs in HK.

No, it is not the one at IFC. They have a few boutiques which managed under a few ADs in HK.

They do look more like AD to me but they called themselves boutique. Also listed in AP Website as boutique.

That depends how you define "boutique" as usually the term AP boutique means stores that sell exclusively AP watches and directly owned and managed by AP itself. These are also the ones that have the most allocation of the desirable pieces. In Hong Kong, there is only one AP boutique that is directly run by AP and that's the one at IFC.

I believe the only store that is run by AP is the one in IFC, the rest are owned by some of the ADs but they have a store that only sell one brand.

Isn't 140,000 hkd very expensive for a 15400? Doesn't that come out to around 18k usd? I'm curious about the pricing as well because I plan to go there in march to pick up a 15400 as well. Do you guys know if the blue dial is hard to find over there?

I've heard biz in HK for luxury goods has taken a nose dive. A major reduction of buyers from China as the crackdown on corruption has taken its toll. No surprise they're discounting heavily.
