Please take note of the incorrect Dial for this 16523 Daytona...

Err buddies...the eBay PowerSeller doesn't say much about the description of the watch...which is a high ticket item listing...

Nevertheless...he says the 16523 is "E" Series...which dates back to 1991 or so...

http://cgi.ebay.com/Rolex-Daytona-Re...3286.m20.l1116

Although Orchi doesn't doubt the authenticity of the watch...but the Super Luminova "SWISS MADE" Dial on the watch...is clearly WRONG...!

The watch should have a Tritium "T SWISS MADE T" Dial...to begin with.

The Seller should at least disclose it honestly...unless it could be an oversight on his part...or that he could be unfamiliar with the watch he is selling...

It says it is a slate dial. It might be a replacement.

Err buddies...in 1991 or so...all Daytona has rounded Arabic fonts on its chrono-counters with inverted "6" which would read as "9" at the 12 hours counter...with "T SWISS MADE T" signifying Tritium markers.

That REplacement Dial now has "SWISS MADE" marking with square Arabic fonts without inverted "6"...which is symbolic to later U/P/A series with Super Luminova Dials...used until the end of 16520 Daytona model...

Thereafter All Daytona/Rolex has Super Luminova Dial from year 1999/2000 n beyond...
