Buying my first AP!
I just bought my first AP - an offshore diver. Will post pics when it gets delivered.
With the good news out of the way, I wanted to ask the AP people their opinion: Do you think the 15202R will get discontinued anytime soon? I tried on the watch this past weekend and LOVE it but I can't afford it just yet. I would hate to see it discontinued before I get purchase one. Do you think the AP Royal Oak Extra Thin (JUMBO) is here for the long haul? Will AP make changes to the model or do they normally just leave things as is? Thanks! |

Ideally it would be great to get a 15202 with the AP at 6 o clock so I'll be saving up and hopefully get it within a year. I don't know how the second market is for APs yet but I was just planning on buying new. Do you think the AP in gold will scratch as easily as an AP in ST? I heard their prone to scratches. |

Yes gold will scratch even easier than SS. I think the Jumbo as it is now is here to stay for a long time, it's much better than the previous edition, so we should see it for a while, wh change a perfect product...

The Jumbo is here to stay (i think), it's the counterpart of the 5711 Nautilus and almost as hard to get one. Congrats on the Diver.

Congrats on your Diver! Looking forward to pics.
The Jumbo is going nowhere (at least not the SS). It's their most iconic watch. |
