Isn't it easier just to go legit these days? This crap would have done well in the 1990s pre-Internet (widespread anyway). Even today, he could sell legitimate watches and make a buck. Even if he wanted to sell frankensteins, there are places where that stuff is discusesed. He'd probably do well, and no one would care. Scamming people isn't very smart, especially in a place like this.

I've said it before, with this recent rash of the most trusted folks in vintage rolex breaking bad, from Mulholland on up, I don't trust anyone anymore. Become your own expert or it's caveat emptor.

I think this sums it up.

You may need help finding something rare and/or unusual; however it's your money so you probably want to be damn sure about what you are buying!

That's just terrible, I can't believe people. Hurts people like myself who are trying to learn. It just really upsets me someone would do this, David has been so good to me and helped me with everyone of my purchases. Thank you David, just remember there are still good people out there.

Found a lol on the net:

Terry Allison is a watch designer and a habitual liar. Very unprofessional. He tries to get you to do business with him so he can try to buy your affection. He likes very young girls and will lie about his age. He is 41 in year 2013. He will make you many business promises and never go through with them. A complete waste of time in business and in friendship. Stay away! He just opened a new watch shop at the Colorado Mills Mall. I just saw another post by a woman in 2011 and she is dead on

http://www.complaintsboard.com/compl...c-c673980.html
the first link looks like alot of unsubstantiated drama between people posing as third persons. dunno who is behaving more hysterical...the alleged watch scammer or the nitwit girl blabbering on about how the guy chases girls and will break hearts. are women in denver that desperate for dates? i can't imagine the guy being that much in demand. i also can't see how this silliness is even slightly relevant. there's enough stuff floating around about his watch shenanigans that would certainly trump any gossip on his private life.

Here is a TRF thread from 2015 warning everyone to stay away from Watch Corp Group and Tim Allison. Interesting to see how everything that was old news is now back in the news again. Tim Strong, Tim Allison and so forth.

http://www.rolexforums.com/showthread.php?t=444398

And another from 2013.

http://www.rolexforums.com/showthread.php?t=305089

And more info on Allison.

First time I have looked at this part of the forum and wow what a thread to start off with. Forget crime novels, this has it all. Some demented baddy who has several personalities and the good guys chasing him around the Internet and exposing him at every opportunity.

On a serious note FairPlay to you guys for this, and what looks to be some serious time invested in exposing this clown

Just a quick FYI:

I recently noticed that he changed his eBay user ID yet again.

It is now "superior.vintagewatches"

He's also back on here with a new username after his marcusjcw21 account was banned.

This saga is far from over, he can't help himself.

Ha, he just changed it again.

Must have seen this thread.

He just moved the period and changed the "g" to a "q" in "vintage". Now it's "superiorvintaqe.watches"

http://www.ebay.com/sch/superiorvintaqe.watches/m.html

Cross-post:

Now he's back to "watchgroupcorp" and still trying to pass his garbage:
http://www.ebay.com/sch/watchgroupcorp/m.html

From oldest to newest:

testigo2010
watchgroupinc
watch-shoppe
watchescentral-tv
wyobullion
watchgroupinc
watchgroupcorp
superiorvintagewatches
superior.vintagewatches
superiorvintaqe.watches
watchgroupcorp

That's just his eBay user names. He has/had plenty of alias/shill accounts here on TRF and other watch forums as well.
