Marathon GSAR

A few shots of my GSAR, a great tool watch built to take a beating...

Thanks for looking!

Great looking GSAR.

One question though. Have you timed yours for accuracy? I don't expect quartz accuracy from a mechanical, but a buddy got a new GSAR a few weeks ago and it is running pretty wild. I think he said it had a variance of something approaching two minutes in a week or ten days.

Just wondering if that is typical- I find it hard to believe it could be- and suspect he got a badly regulated one or a lemon.

Well, it certainly isn't my most accurate watch. Mine runs about +15s a day...

Thanks, appreciate the info. I'll pass it along to my friend. He's hoping it will settle in a little.

I think they're very cool, and built like and as BIG as a tank!

No problem! The good news is it'll be easy to have regulated if he chooses to do so...

Ouch! I got my GMT down to +5s a month with regular turning and placing.
