C &I bracelet damage, sickening feeling
Was at my daughters house on Thanksgiving, she asked me to close the patio sliding door, I start to close it but it's stuck,so I pull harder and smack right into my C&I bracelet and I get that sickening feeling in my stomach. I look down and damn one link is crushed in. I thought now what do I do, send it to Michael Young, take it to a jeweler see if they can fix it, or fix it my self for the time being until I can find a replacement link. I went with the last option, it may not be perfect but will do until I can find another link.

I had a similar problem on my CI bracelet before. I used nose pliers (wrapped clothing around the pliers to not to scratch the link) to fix it.

unwrap the link, take it out, and hammer it back into the proper shape, then re-install it and brush back to finish..
Or have somebody do it for you. LA Watchworks may be a good choice.

Tools is correct. Just remove the center link by unbending it and hammer it flat. After installing, just touch it to a satin wheel for a few seconds and its good as new..

Adds character and makes it truly yours! I'd just enjoy unless I was planning to sell it...
