Hey guys,

What do you guys prefer on a GMT 16710 coke, the Jubilee option or the Oyster option? I have included photos for reference (jubilee photos borrowed from google). I just received a Christmas bonus and I'm seriously considering buying the Jubilee.

Oyster for me. In my subjective -as any- opinion, looks more "elegant" and "stronger".

Having both available is the best solution. If my GMT came with folded end links I'd sport the jubilee. But since mine has SELs I prefer the Oyster.

I'm curious, what is the logic behind that? Are the GMT Jubilee end links not SEL?

Hmm...on the older GMT's jubilee looks more "fitting". On the newer GMT's oyster is the only way to go.

Bought mine on jubilee but then bought the oyster so I could switch it up from time to time as the mood struck, suggest having both if possible it's a lot of fun

GMT jubilee bracelets of the era had folded end links. Although not original to the references many have used the super jubilee on 16710s and newer GMTs.

I did not know that! Thanks for the tip Dan, I am much less inclined to switch out my SEL Oyster now.

I prefer having both and generally get my oyster fix when wearing my Sub. If it were my one and only and I had to pick one it would be the oyster.

Hi All & best wishes for a Happy New Year , Been avidly following the forum since May but its the First Post for Me . I have a 1999 16700 A serial Swiss only Dial & have both Oyster & Jubilee . Its well worth having both & easily interchangeable , but prefer Oyster in the colder weather & Jubilee for warmer days .

Just bought the 16710 two days ago, and have already ordered a jubilee. I like having the option of the different look of the jubilee.
