Hey.
I have just bought my first Rolex, a 116520 steel with white dial with fat hands. I contacted my dealer in june expecting to wait some years, but got the message that they had one for me last week I also have a Zenith Port Royale El Primero with black dial and black croc strap. Since I'm new with Rolex, is there any tip you people can give to keep the Daytona in best possible condition? I'm going to use the watch reguarly if not daily. I also see people are talking about F and Z series. What is the differences? Thanks. Frank |

Different opinions on keeping a watch clean. I use a soft baby toothbrush, warm water and mild soap, rinse, use a lint free cloth to finish. F & Z are Rolex serial identification for when the watch was made. Your daytona would have the same specifications be it either a F or Z series, i.e. it is an identical watch, and welcome to TRF |

Thanks Martin.
Will try to take some pictures when I get my Zenith back from service. How do I see what series it is? Webmaster/moderator, maybe you can move this thread to the Rolex general discussion forum? |

Its marked on the side of the watch between the lugs, to see the number you would have to take the bracelet off. It should match the number indicated on your paperwork/guarantee card

Thanks everybody for a great welcome!!!
Here are some pictures to get an idea. Not mine but some I found in internet. Will post pictures with both together when I get my Zenith back from service. Zenith Port Royale El Primero, really like the open construction at rear. The Daytona which I guess you all know |
