Would I trade my sea dweller for that Ap? urgent please

I have a chance to trade my sea dweller 4000 ceramic full package excellent condition for audemars piguet ROO rubberclad G series no box or papers with unknown service history and pay usd 3600. Should I go for it? Or you think it doesn't worth?? I'll post in AP thread too

I wouldn't make that trade, mostly because that AP does nothing for me. If you love it, go for it.

No way.

Beat-up looking rubber bezel, likelihood of needing service, no box/papers are strongly dissuasive factors.

The AP RC is a classic AP piece. If you like the piece, absolutely trade away. Also, if it's running well, I wouldn't worry about sending it in for a service till it's needed.

If you want to try an AP, get a popular model. I won't comment on how long it took to get rid of a Safari (similar minus the rubberclad bezel) other than to say it took a LONG time (and a loss). Definitely account for a service immediately.

PS: I love AP

Personally I much prefer the sea dweller and wouldn't trade.

As always, it's gotta be your choice eh?

The AP is a good complement to a Rolex. I am not sure it could be my only watch. Food for thought.

Not for that AP - for that type of money you can get a similar AP with known provenance, box, papers, and possibly already serviced. Check the sales section here on the forums!

Brett. That AP is for 10k. It's impossible to find such price over here.

I would not - if for nothing else due to the unknown history and missing papers.

I would save a little more and pick up a newer ROO with the ceramic crown and pushers, possibly under warranty. When ready reach out to Takuya! He'all take care of you.

The retails of these are so different that it seems like a really good deal to me. The AP RC is a classic model as Big Mike says, so I would go for it if you like the look, altho rubber is a bit outdated now but thus does offer good value. I thought it might be a fake but it is not.
