Just got a Black Bay Blue.
Hi everyone. I've just got an eta Black Bay Blue and I intend to wear it as my everyday watch on an aftermarket NATO and I have two questions. Firstly what width NATO should I get and secondly do I need new spring bars or can I use them from either the oem leather strap or included NATO strap?
Thanks David |

Use the strap that Tudor includes, it's awesome on it :)

Congratulations great choice
Lug width is 22mm and the strap that comes with it is excellent, for a NATO I just used the spring bars from the braclelet |

You'll need 22mm straps, and the original spring bars work just fine

As others have said the Tudor NATO is phenomenal, but there are lots of options out there. You're looking for 22mm straps. While not necessary, I would pick up a few sets of spring bars and keep the originals with the bracelet. Enjoy!

Thanks for all the replies.
I'm not sure of the oem NATO and actually like the idea of being able to have a selection of NATO's in different colours. What size replacement sprigbars should I look for and they specific to NATO type straps? Thanks |

David have a look at gasgasbones. The zero zero strap or the one they actually make specifically for the black bay. It has the rose etched into one of the aluminium buckle parts.
The guy makes all the straps for Bremont watches so he is no mug. I have one and the quality is fantastic. Made to measure for your wrist as well. You pick everything down to the stitching colour if you get the zero zero strap. Only downside is he is a one man band and closes every other two weeks on orders so he can catch up with back orders. Good luck |

I just looked at these too and they look pretty nice. The rose is an awesome complement for the original bb. |

They are not particularly cheap but you get what you pay for as they say. The strap material is top quality, and the metal part can be recycled. If you do manage to wear it out or damage it, you send the metal piece back and he builds it back into your next strap and obviously charges you less.
It fits any watch perfectly because you tell him what model it is or give him the measurement between spring bars and it's made to fit that. He puts some good quality spring bars in with the strap as well. |
