This Heuer. Stunning dial and overall design. I know it's a retro re-do, but I don't care. It's still a beautiful timepiece that screams late 1960s-early 1970s. This one's a relatively rare, limited-production Carrera, and it's the only chronometer-rated version from these boutique-only models. Keeps spot on time too.

I sporadically get interested in this watch. Love the look, and the complication. Then I look at the price, and the desire inevitably fades.

Maybe if I could see one in person.

Why? Too affordable? After getting hooked on Glashutte-made watches (Nomos, Original, Lange) I have hard time going to Rolex...

My Rolex watches are my reasonably priced watches. I used to have allot of watches, in a variety of price points, but I found that I didn't enjoy owning a ton of watches, so I sold most of them off, just have an AP, Patek and 2 Rolex, plus a couple of cheapos for the gym and other abusive activities.

I'm quite tempted to get a mid-priced watch, but after sitting on the decision for a while I realize it's just consumerism, and it won't get any wear long term, will likely be sold down the track.

However, I really would like to have a Speedmaster again :)

Depending on the budget. I would mention seko skx 007 for workhorse and tag link for upper shelf but still within 1000 usd for second hand.
