FS: Vintage Wittnauer Geneve GMT Valjoux 72
For your consideration a very rare Wittnauer GMT with the famous Valjoux 72 movement.
Dial: Original dial in excellent condition with beautiful patina. (scratches on crystal) Hands: Original 4pc handset in excellent condition with perfect matching patina. Bezel: Original two tone coke bezel faded to a pleasant pepsi color bezel. Bracelet: 20mm vintage leather strap Case size: 41mm Movement: Valjoux 72-9 movement. "9" modified GMT hand. No box or papers, service history unknown. Watch is currently running well. Only issue is the 3 o'clock sub dial reset is 1 interval ahead. Notes: One of the rarer vintage Wittnauer chronographs that you just do not see often. Arguably one of the most beautiful with all the desirable characteristics we look for. Not to mention the famous Valjoux 72 movement collector's love. The original dial and hands are in amazing condition with stunning, matching patina. The recessed radial sub dials and double lollipop hands are just one of a kind. The extra modified GMT lollipop hand is one of the coolest feature on this watch. Can't go wrong here.
