Invited to NASA

I got an email from the Omega Boutique yesterday.

They have invited my wife and I to join them on a visit to NASA. All expenses paid.

To say I'm grateful and excited really just doesn't cut it.

Curious if anyone else has done this and if they have any feedback on what we can expect. I've heard it's all top of the line accommodations.

Needless to say, I'll be documenting the entire trip which is at the end of March.

I'll also be wearing my apprapo Omega pictured below. I've not taken it off since I got it.

That's amazing! Congrats. Cape Canaveral? When I worked for the govt years ago, I did some work there. It's a cool place.

That's great!

Are you going to Houston or Florida?

I've been to Houston a few times and it's awesome. Seeing these things like the Skylab in person is pretty crazy. That thing is Tiny!

Wow! Great trip! That's above and beyond for Omega. It pays to have an established relationship with an AD/Boutique.

I exercise extreme caution my friend! The word on the street in Houston is that NASA is looking to shanghai a crew of Omega lovers for the so called "Man on Mars" project.

If you're going to Houston, check out Villa Capri. It's a really good Italian restaurant not far from NASA.

Have fun!

Thanks guys. Very excited.

This is in Houston. I am told that everything is included, so I will likely not be going out to meals.

But I will certainly be doing my best to check out the area. It is a Tuesday and Wednesday so I might just parlay it into a very long weekend if I can make it work.

Sooooo cool. I can't wait for the trip thread. Don't you have a Snoopy? I think that would be a really cool watch to take to NASA too.

Thanks again guys. I am not very good at responding to all comments, so I apologize for that. My attention span does not typically last long enough for me to cut and paste them all into one response.

How I got invited? I am not really too sure. But I do go in there a lot. And I have joined many of their events. I have also bought too many watches...

Yes though, a mighty high honor for sure. I am thrilled.

Wow, that's just fantastic! Congrats! Any idea why they selected you, or how many others they also invited? Really looking forward to the pics from this one!

I wish I knew. Very likely it is based on the amount of watches I have purchased.

But I have to imagine there are many ballers that spend way more than I do. I am just a little fish.

I have been loyal though for a lot of years. I have bought from them going on 5 or so years and I have stepped up my game a lot over the last few.

They do have a few trips planned. I am not sure how many people are invited on each.
