Can you guy please check this one out.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ROLEX-DATE-MENS-...QQcmdZViewItem

Looks good to me but you guys know much more than I do.
I checked their feedback and it looks like a good place to buy from.
Let me know what you think about the watch and seller.
Thanks

It looks legit, strong feedback on the seller. However, the price seems a little high. The seller does not mention if the band is original. Look at the other items he has for sale, to include numerous TT and SS bands - referred as "replacement bands."

In comparison, you may want to look at Ebay number 380058946453, notice this one does not have the SS band.

Food for thought....

The dial and case look right to me. the band from th epics also look righ BUT as timetogo posted above about the additional replacement bracelets ask him to see some pictures of the band and ask if it the original.

Thanks guys, I had already sent him a question about the band so I'm just waiting for hime to get back with me on that. I'm sure you guys know more than I do but shouldn't the crown be at the 12 O'clock marker and not the numerals? As far as the price goes. Does that seem high? It's right around the same prices as others I've been looking at. I would love to find one around $1500 but haven't been able to at this time.
Thanks

the crown- as in the winder? that should always be at three o'clock or the crown on the dial is and should be at 12. both are in the right place.

It all depends on what you feel comfortable in paying for the watch. You may still buy the same model watch for about the same price from another buyer, but with the original papers, boxes, and a known owner history. Patience...

Sorry I meant the Rolex emblem not the acutal crown. I thought that they took the place of the numerals on those dials but like I said I'm new at all of this.

I think I'm going to leave this one alone. His reply to my question was "All genuine, reed description, check the feedbacks. Thanks" I guess he doesn't like to give out info. I'm not one to talk about spelling either but I think I can spell read. I guess I have to keep looking

....based on the wording....

...it is an aftermarket band. Seller states "Oyster style". No ref to a genuine band.

Stan.
