I have a vintage (circa 1970's) white gold AP dress watch and I'm trying to figure out which movement it is. Any of you AP experts could help me identify it?

Caliber 2001 I think

Don't know but it's very nice, love how back then they finished the movement even if you wouldn't ever see it, but I still prefer seeing it

Thanks for the reply, Capote! Yes, this appears to be Caliber 2001 with the gyromax balance wheel (an upgrade AP did to the Caliber 2001 in late 1970's).

No kidding. I love the pride in workmanship approach, even if the watchmaker would be the only one that sees it.
