Thanks again for all the responses. I thought it would be a landslide for the BLNR but a lot of votes for keeping the sub. Kinda wish I could afford to keep both but sadly not an option.

First question, if the BLNR did not exist, would you keep and enjoy your 16610, if your answer is no, then trade up, if your answer is yes it denotes that you are happy with what you have got, so why not stick with it. Really I think in your frame of mind your best bet is to walk into the dealer with your wife/partner at your side and try on both watches and then go with your heart as to which one looks best on you. I prefer the 16610 on grounds of appearance but that is just me and my visual opinion is worthless to you. If you and your partner come to a consensual decision, then go with it. Sorry but you have to go to the dealer and make the decision there and then and finally live with it. It is dead easy to buy a watch, the hard bit is not to analyse whether or not you did the right thing. Good luck. Regards Mick |

What it comes down to is personal preference...
I have the BLNR and a new Ceramic Bluesy Sub!!! I also have a 5 digit sub TT Black dial ... All that being said, the 5 digit seems a little more dressy to me . The BLNR I'd say is the most versatile piece in my collection.... If only only one? It'd be a tough call between My BLNR and Bluesy Sub C.... but that's only because I've loved the Bluesy since my teens ... I think it's my soul watch ... The 2 make an exceptional duo ....and I wouldn't want to part with either ... |

I don't neither one but I would go for the BLNR. Just think it's a bit more special.

What numbers you talking here? If the money is right I'd say do it, you won't regret it.

Here is another option, keep the sub and get a used 116710ln. Comes out nearly the same and you have two watches. Lastly basel is 3 days away if you have any desire for a coke bezel modern gmt I'd hold off until it's know.

Once you sell your old friend Sub there's no turning back. The fact that you started this thread means you're not sure about it, and you never even tried the BLNR, so IMHO you shouldn't do it.

From what we continually hear on this forum, if you're in the UK they're next to impossible to obtain.
If you have a chance to but one, jump,on it. |

If it's an everyday watch, blnr. If you have the means to keep both then even better, but a one watch collection needs to be as new as you can get I reckon.
