The New Rolex Sea Dweller

This was just released on the Rolex website.

What do you guys think?

Here is the Youtube video:
https://www.youtube.com/8R1ubtHT5-Y

From the Rolex website:
"Rolex is introducing the latest generation of its Oyster Perpetual Sea-Dweller, a legend among professional divers’ watches created 50 years ago in 1967. The new Sea-Dweller features a larger, 43 mm case and the new calibre 3235, at the forefront of watchmaking technology and employed for the first time in a Rolex Professional category watch. To enhance the reading of the date, it is equipped, also for the first time, with a Cyclops lens on the crystal at 3 o’clock. The dial bears the name Sea-Dweller in red, a reference to the first model."

Stats:
Case Dia: 43mm
Movement: 3235

It is a winner but too large for me, now to track down a BNIB SDc!

looks good but the size is also a killer for me. I will still try it on when my AD gets one, who knows it may wear small.

It's great...it seems as though Rolex is starting to take notice to what the fanboys want.

I guess this will make a lot of people happy, red font and larger size. The old SDC had very short production run for a modern reference.

Like the red font, lower profile bezel pearl, flush endlinks. But larger size and cyclops makes it a no buy for me.

The first picture looked like it had a bevelled case, but now I see it does not...

Not sure about a cyclops on this model though. Love the size.

At 43mm this watch is unwearable for me.

It is simply huge. My dinero remains in the bank!

50/50. May end up as next watch. Wonder where they will price this? I'm guessing same as black faced DSSD.
