Rolex - Warranty Card Question
I just purchased a rolex oyster perpetual 39 off the grey market and the warranty card is from a German AD, but the warranty card info is in english. Is this normal? All the books are in english as well.

Thanks....additionally, there is a gold sticker on the top left of the warranty card that has the serial # for the watch and other numbers, is that normal as well?

First and foremost, welcome to TRF. Congrats on the new OP. I'm sure the card is fine. As long as it's AD stamped and dated you should be good to go. The gold sticker with the serial number sounds like a dealer inventory sticker. Nothing to worry about.
More than likely, you'll never have a need for the card.

The watch I received this week from a reliable TS came from Switzerland. Booklet and card also in English. My name is now on the warranty card. Since the warranty follows the watch for 5 years, there's no worries IMO. I'm not expecting to service the watch for at least 9-10 years. I hope you enjoy your new watch!

Welcome to TRF.
Unfortunately, this is not as simple a matter as it may seem. Suggest you search TRF for relevant threads. It is sometimes discussed several days a week. Begin here with #6 in this thread. https://www.rolexforums.com/showthread.php?t=527551 As the OP says, "don't shoot the messenger!" |
