116622 YM with Platinum Dial

Is this watch still readily available at ADs? If so, are ADs discounting them?

Platinum dial is now discontinued. Shame as it's a stunning watch with that platinum dial. However it was never a great seller in reality.

They're easy to find nearly new and you may even find one sitting new at an AD.
Definitely discounts available on this model.

Mayors at North Point Mall in Alpharetta GA has one. I saw it yesterday. Ask for Lynda. She is great. Tell her Steve sent you.

That is too bad, although there must be a lot of them out there.

This is a monochrome classic. I have the 16622, which differs from the six digit version in that its platinum dial has a coarser shimmering finish compared to the finer finish of the outgoing version.
Also popped a red date wheel in, thanks to seeing the great shots on this site.

I just purchased a "pre-owned" 2006-ish YM, 16622, beautifully serviced and prepared by an on-line dealer. This, my first Rolex, is simply stunning (the perfect accessory to my Platinum colored Porsche...or is it the other way around :)
