I have a new watch arriving this weekend. The plots are a little creamy I am sure I read they can lighten up if they are exposed to bright sunshine,Can anyone offer any advice .

The theory goes that tritium lume can go yellow-ish if left in the dark for years. Once brought into the light they can lighten a shade or two over a few days / weeks of normal use.
