Still waiting on them to offer it in Business Platinum. I know it's coming. Personal is gold premier rewards. No point in having 2 platinums

One things that sucks about this card is that it tends to limit or negatively impact the sensors of other cards that are placed near to it in your wallet. For example, my key card to get into building(s) may or may not always work when I "tap" my wallet. No issue before the all metal Platinum card

I pass on it....seems that flying is where you get the biggest percs.....since im retired now...even the gold card i have does not seem worth the money....may go back to green.
I charged my DJ with it last summer.....but average 2k a month on it....not much |

No such luck downunder here in oz yet, my Amex Pt will have to stay plastic :(
Also many stores have stopped taking Amex (including Toys R Us & Costco!!), so less opportunity to use Amex these days. Oz also allows retailer to surcharge for CC, we get hit by 1.5-2%+ extra... plus using Amex usually dearer than VISA. The points/rewards aren't worth that 2% IMHO. |
