RO Rose Gold vs. GMT Master II Yellow Gold

Which one would you get? AP Royal Oak black dial in rose gold or the Rolex GMT Master II black dial in yellow gold?

AP RO, but I'd have at least one SS as well, you don't want to wear all the time.

Would the AP be on a RG bracelet or strap?

If the AP is on a strap i would go with a YG GMT II. If the AP is on a bracelet i would go with the AP.

Yet again there about a 10k-15k price difference between a YG GMT and a RG AP on a bracelet. Similar price difference between the AP on the Strap and the YG GMT.

AP, IMHO the 18K Rolex sports watches get boring quickly.

This is where a sunburst dial really helps as the finishing and feel of APs and PPs are hard to beat.

They feel the same on my wrist, but my RG 44 actually weighs 25g more than my YG Subc.

AP unless it's on a strap. If the AP is on a strap, I'd personally go Day Date.

I agree the price dif is a factor. They can be compared but I think the AP has the upper hand

I will go for AP, even if it's an AP RG is on a strap. Way nicer finishing and nicer dial as well. Rolex Sports watches in full gold doesn't quite do it for me. But if you are talking about the Daydate, then it gets murkier, and ultimately a matter of preference.

Do note the AP Royal Oak in full Rose Gold is very loud. I have a full RG Skeleton and actually feel self conscious wearing it out in public.

Go for the AP. The rosegold has a warm tone and very classy.
