The BLRO was 14 months ago and I lost $3000 (Canadian). This is the only watch in the last several years that I have lost considerable money on...people just don't pay the big $ for white gold (much less demand). I broke even on the 116618LB. I wanted to try a YG Rolex and the 116618LB blue retains the best value of any YG Rolex and it has a relatively low MSRP compared to other gold models. These 2 things make it a very safe purchase at the right price. With regards to the DSSD blue. When you buy 4 steel Rolex at a time there is usually an AD willing to give you a fair deal... I don't want to get into any specific numbers about pricing but if you are smart about it there is good ways to buy new and used. High volume buying is a good way to buy new from an AD. You can negotiate a better deal and then there is low risk if you sell some. At the end of the day if you are buying a full gold Rolex or offering to buy 4 watches new then there is always an AD who is willing to work with you to make it more enticing.

Tebow I'm not sure what your issue is with me. If using your knowledge about the market and pricing to experience a wide variety of watches for fun is a crime then convict me.

I don't have an issue w you; I have an issue w your incessant posts about the Rolex you currently flipped for, asking all of us for our opinions while knowing that you are going to flip it again just to start the whole process over.

It is just a little alienating. That's all, bud

Peel and wear. Much too nice to sit in the darkness of a safe.

Seriously! If you have indeed broken even on all your recent flips, tell me your secret fellow Canuck!

Do whatever you want whenever you want. Forget the naysayers. Great that you're able to flip and get what you want when you want it. More power to you!

Dubious claims are alienating as well, and OP's posts are littered with those. Like this little nugget for example:

I'm curious to know the details. What kind of discount did you get when you bought those 4 Rolexes? Four SS pieces is nowhere near "high volume" enough to get a significant discount at any AD, much less a discount that would allow you to break even or make a profit by reselling those same 4 watches. How much did you sell them for?

Oh, and why did you delete the post about the ridiculously low $8500 for that NOS 16610LV?

Wow. Tough crowd.

A NOS 16610LV is only going to appreciate in value. If you are going to sell it soon then don't take the stickers off.

If you are going to sell it a little later than soon, don't take the stickers off.

Nice pickup. Normally I'd say peel and wear it. But don't do it, knowing you, that watch will be on its way out the door by May.

I think a sticky thread on how to flip and break even should be created by Josh for other TRF members who are not good in flipping watches.
