When posts on this forum lead to great things and new friends!
I posted up last week about getting a steal of a deal on a Tudor Fastrider and mentioned the AD had a few pieces left at fire sale prices.
After posting I got a private message from Sailaway68 (Tim) saying he had called the AD up and was coming over from France to Scotland to buy it this week. So today I get a message saying Tim's 30 minutes away and do I want to meet up for a coffee ... well it would be rude not to :) So here's my Tudor Black Shield from last week (now on a PVD mesh strap), Tim's Sub C and his new Black Shield too.  Nice meeting you Tim and hope you enjoy the Tudor! :D |

It's the first person I've met from the forum - I have chatted with Nairn1980 a bit and he is extremely local but it's taken an Englishman coming over from France to pop my forum cherry :D
Chuffed that my own luck at the AD has netted a couple of members on this forum cracking deals along with a few others on FB groups such as Urban Gentry :) I'll await Tim pitching in once he's sorted his travels home. |

Just back to my fathers home near York after a wonderful day..... I am a member of various forums for different interests, cars, motorbikes, sailing etc but there is always so much crossover. It was a pleasure to meet you Rikki, and thanks for the intro into a very nice independant AD with a great selection of Rolex on show, in a beautiful part of this wonderful world. Well worth the journey. Pleased with the new Tudor Chrono to add to the stable....
