Advice/Ideas please
I am looking a Ulysse Nardin Maxi Marine or Rolex Sub two tone. Both in the same ball park price wise, however I have seen threads of the UN taking a hit on resale. I just really like the look of them.
I am very new to the watch game, so any advice for this newbie would be appreciated. I love blue face and gold bands or two tone bands. Any brands I am missing out on to view? Thanks again. Bob |

Welcome. I like the UN watches but they take a large hit in the secondary market unless you can purchase at 30% or more off retail. The best bet is a Submariner but also buy right as a flip from full retail is still painful. Look at the Trusted Sellers here to get a feel for pricing.

Welcome aboard
I suppose if you buy at the right price, you'll minimize any downside price later on. I personally would go with the Sub first, but go with what sings to you |

Welcome to the forum.
Go for a Sub. Subs are popular for a reason. Great all around watch with stable market/value. If you are looking a TT Subs check out the LB (blue) dialed model in person. It is a beautiful watch.
