47mm WITH date

Alright, well a month or so back I babbled about getting a PAM, now sitting nicely on my wrist is the 372 (love it). However, the first thing I noticed was the lack of a date. I didn't think it would be an issue, but I find that I am looking at it quite often for the date (apparently I use that function often in my other references). It doesn't diminish the watch for me, but does let me yearn for one with a date function. Issue being: no 47mm w/date (at least none I found).

So how many of you all would want a date function in a 47mm? If it came out, i'd be first in line...but who would be second?

Not sure what you mean, as there are many 47 with date (305, 514 and the bronze models come to mind, but there are many more).

Do you mean a 372 with date?

If so, the better question would be 422 with a date, as no 2-handers of any size have the date function, except for the early 424s.

It makes sense in your (my) head when I'm thinking I'm writing what I want to...and then after someone says "WTF" you go back and read and realize IT DOES NOT SAY WHAT YOU THOUGHT IT SAID.

Panerai Luminor 1950 model, NOT a "submersible". I see the 670 and 656, but...very cluttered dial.

Maybe it doesn't make sense, but I mean a 312 style....but in 47mm.

Maybe I'm just babbling.

Closest you can get is the 514, which is exactly what you want, but a 1940 Rad.

Seriously, that is such a great video that it's worthy of starting a thread to show it. It's likely to get lost in here

You know I've been thinking and looking for the same thing. The 422 is next on my list, I love everything about it but I've also been looking at the panerai website to see if there is anything that looks like the 422 with date but there isn't.

So I will have to live without the date function, all 6 watches in my collection have a date function.
