It's ALIVE.....!!!
Hello all, that may have followed this saga....!!
I have finally obtained the correct crown for my V Serial (Aug2008) 116233 DateJust...the newer version, vs the older 16233... where the 24-600-8 crown is the part needed. In this case, with the 116233, the correct crown, (thanks to Venessa and Bob..).. is the (B)24-604-3 G1. Yes, I realize that the last digit '3' should represent the material code...however, this B24-604-3-G1 is a perfect fit for the 116233, in 18K YG. Just returned from my watchmaker who installed it in short time while we were chatting...! - Awesome job..! And, no service required at this point in time.. (this is not my daily watch..). So..all is Great...and she's back on my wrist and running as it should... I couldnt be happier.... Thanks to Avo, for the part and Norbert, The German Watchmaker, for making this happen............... Phew.......
