FS: Vintage 1950s Wittnauer Chronograph – priced to move

This 1950s Wittnauer two-register chronograph is a true collector's piece. It has amazing vintage touches -- step case, blue steel hands, tricolor dial, signed mesh bracelet, faceted lugs, lug holes, long hash marks on the 3 o'clock subdial for timing long-distance telephone calls -- in a super-affordable package.

Model: 1950s Wittnauer Chronograph

Case: Approximately 35-36mm, 44mm lug-to-lug. All stainless steel, shows light wear. Never polished. Please study photos, as they are part of the description. Plastic high-hat crystal in good condition. Watch is 12.5mm thick, with 18mm lug width. Lugs are faceted, super-sharp and have holes.

Dial: All-original silver dial in great shape with grooved subdials, applied steel markers, blue minute track and red telemeter track. Get lost in this great detailing.

Bracelet: Rare mesh bracelet with signed Longines-Wittnauer buckle. I'll also include an orange 1-piece NATO and two two-piece NATOs, seen in last photo. The mesh is super-comfy and has a great vintage vibe, while the NATOs give a sporty feel. Very versatile.

Crown: Big and signed. A pleasure to wind.

Movement: Venus 188 manual wind. I do not know the service history, but the watch is running strong and the chronograph functions and resets on the money.

Offered at: A fair and affordable $875. In no rush to sell, lowballs will be ignored. If you don't like my price, a couple in worse condition are listed on eBay for $1,200.

Fine print: PayPal only. Will ship when funds clear. I'll cover PayPal fees. CONUS only.

Seller: I have a string of flawless references in the Watch Deals section of Watchuseek, Omega Forums and TRF. I'll expect the buyer to have strong references as well. Again, CONUS only. I am not a dealer or flipper. Just a curious collector who often sells watches to chase new ones. My watches are priced to move. PM me with any questions or reasonable offers. Returns accepted (minus shipping and insurance) if watch is not authentic.

Note: Please no lowballs or trades, no offers from outside the United States and no users without feedback. CONUS only.

Thanks, WUS!
