How much did the bracelet run you from the AD? Did you have to say you had a watch with glidelock originally or they just took care of you? I hope you don't mind my asking.
Looks great btw

Send me a PM. I'd rather not put the AD 'out there'.

i'm curious about this as well. i have an old sub and the bracelet is showing it's stretch...i'd love to swap out a new glidelock bracelet.

Hmmmm. I would love to do that. Can you put a glidelock on the original sub bracelet. So you would be just replacing the clasp?

It looks great but it's not a kermit anymore because of the glide lock.

Glidelock bracelet...on a kermit!

Brilliant, definitely my favorite bracelet. My father in law has a Kermit and if I ever end up with it I'll do this. Thanks for posting!!

Nice work you put up for this thread!
Off topic, 1661o "Kermit" is a LN, not LV. A GB (green bezel) yes, but not LV.
Also, i've had my watch for over an year and only when i sized the bracelet i've played with the glidelock. Today was the first time i really tested it for the best settings for my wrist, indeed a great feature

What do you mean not an LV? Rolex calls it a 16610LV

This must be why Rolex requires a bracelet exchange for a new one or the watch head be sent in now.

Congrats! I also have a glidelock bracelet for just such occasions! Great on 5-digit stainless references.

Great combo

From a watch standpoint biggest regret. 2 years ago Davidsw had one on a glidelock for 7500 kicking myself for not buying it. I would have bought a black bezel to swap out and done.

i just wish the glidelock clasp were shorter. On smaller wrists, it takes up a big chunk of the total bracelet length, and doesn't sit quite as comfortably as it should. The same adjustability with a shorter range of options (and maybe a diver's extension to make up the difference) would be a welcome change.

Questions

Sorry for reviving an older thread:

if (returning to wear a Rolex after 19 years again...) I could put my hand on a later 16610 (no-hole, Super-Luminova, "SWISS MADE") will the newer, Glide-Lock bracelet (97200) of the maxi case Sub still fit perfectly?

Regarding clasp length (as mentioned in the previous comment): having a 6.7 " = 17 cm wrist should I expect a pleasant wear/fit or is this wrist size too small for it?

Maybe anyone tried the mentioned Glide-Lock bracelet to the Sea-Dweller 16600 and/or Tudor Oyster Chronograph 79260/270/280?...

Thanks for any kind input!

Regards,
Robert
