Scammer alert!

A new scammer who claims to be me, has been using various watch forums (Rolex Forum and WUS) to respond to "Want to buy" ads.

Scammer uses a "fake" email address ([email protected]), claiming that he has the watches, buyers are seeking for.

Furthermore, he uses my references or feedback on TRF, to convince potential buyers that he is the same person.

Typically, both the "self proclaimed victims" and "scammer" have 0 feedback on the forums.

Obviously, i would never communicate outside of the forums and that email address doesn't belong to me.
Looks like this scammer needs a real job outside of this nonsense.

I've said this many times. The WTB responses are from a den of thieves. It is useless and dangerous.

Agreed. If scammers weren't lazy and focused on real ways to make money (utilize their talents or lack thereof, we'd all be better off.

Ive dealt with jamil many times over the last year, he is a pleasure to deal with, I consider him a friend and the fact that someone is trying to use his goo name to scan members of various forums really gets me HOT!!!

Is the primary purpose of the WTB section for baiting scammers then? Because I'd get on board with an operation like that.

Primary purpose is for honest people to find a particular watch they are looking for from honest sellers.
Unfortunately it is a bait trap for pond scum, so you have to be diligent in researching a particular seller.
There is PLENTY of great advice available here on the Forum for people to use and follow
