New SS Sub ND: Bracelet Pin Fell Out

Hi All

First time poster here.

Yesterday I bought my first nice watch / first rolex: stainless steel submariner, no date from a local AD. Been eyeing it for a while and to say I'm very excited about it is an understatement. I chose it because I like its versatility, timelessness and above all, it's durability.

Last night, after my first day of wearing with seemingly no issues at all, I put my sub away in my bag and went to sleep. The bag didn't move through the night. I woke up in the morning excited to throw it on. I saw that one of the pins had fallen out of the bracelet and it had come apart. This was pretty disappointing.

So I went back to my AD and they screwed it back on, tightened it etc. He assured me they never run into this issue and all should be well now. But I'm a bit hesitant so I'm keeping a close eye on it.

After some research it looks like this is a more common issue with the newer models. Hoping to open a dialogue with people who have experienced this and fixed it first hand:

-I bought some loctite as recommended on other threads. If I do apply this, any pointers on proper application? And would you do it on all pins now?
-If the pin falls out while wearing the watch and the watch hits the ground causing some damage, will this be covered by my warranty?
-What type of looks or service will I get if I go in to a different AD looking for a second opinion?

Another note, my watch is fully insured so that eases my mind a bit about this. But I selected the submariner so I can take it into any activity, condition, environment, or work meeting and not have to worry about it falling off my wrist, which would be pretty embarrassing.

If your watch loses a pin and falls that's not covered by warranty.

I don't use anything on my watches (8).
Never had a problem.

My best friend? He had one come loose once but he's also harder on the watch than he should be.

If it makes you feel better take out each screw and apply a SMALL amount to each female thread and screw it back in. Done.
