Rolex GMT + Louis Vuitton Keepall 55 - just sharing new purchase with Pics

My wife and I have been enjoying "stay-cations" recently so lots of weekend trips from our home in Boca Raton and also our summer home in Jersey. I've been wanting a treat for myself for a while of course when I get something the wife always has to get something too so we ended up purchasing a his and her Keepall.

I was, personally, torn between the Damier Graphite and the new style Eclipse, both are amazing designs in person, the 55 is an excellent choice as we originally went for the 45 but felt it was too small for multiple day trips, but the quality seems awesome, when the light hits the Eclipse it's a good looking lighter black and almost gunmetal type look, all in all very happy with it!

And if wouldn't be a proper post without the GMT making an appearance in the photo shoot! :) Hope you all enjoy it, if you are in the market for one I'd highly recommend.

Thanks and hope you all have a great Memorial Day!

Nice pick ups, my mrs has a couple too, probably for 7-10 years now. They're holding up really well. Enjoy

I was just In the LV store on rodeo holding the 45 and 55, the guy kept telling me 45 is plenty for a 6 day trip. I didn't believe him and opted for a 55.

Great bags! I got a set for me and the Mrs as well as one for my mother. All 3 still look new after pretty regular use for the last 3 years. Enjoy them for a lifetime.

Interesting, our salesperson actually said the opposite as she said she bought the 45 for herself and was one of her bigger regrets as it was just too small and she should have opted for the 55. I guess to each their own but I would agree, I felt the 45 and albeit I'm sure it would suffice for a short trip and for somebody who packs very well could make due but when putting against the 55, it just seemed so tiny. Great choice and congrats to you as well!

We got 2 Keepalls for carry-on luggage.

One is from 1979 and the other is from 1986. Still doing their job.

try get a PVC base insert that gives it some structure...otherwise when half fill it tends to look like a banana and stuff is all over the show
