I think my wife is becoming a WIS

I bought my wife a Reverso last Christmas. Her first nice watch ever. It could have turned out one of two ways: 1. She likes it and wears it. 2. She doesn't like it and I get to wear it. Turns out I got door #1.

Then we were at the Rolex AD getting a link taken out of my Daytona and she picked out a Datejust she liked. Finally tracked one down from a great TRF member and gave that to her yesterday just because. She loves it. I came down for lunch today and she's surfing the interweb looking at what her next watch will be.

How cool is that? We get to share an interest other than, well, you know.

That's great.
I bought my wife this Yacht Master Midsize around 10 years ago. She wears it all the time and also now loves to admire new watches etc.

Her enthusiasm isn't to my level but she is reasonably keen. The problem is she can't find anything she likes as much as her trusty Yacht-Master.

Sooo let me understand, now you have to split the watch budget with the wife? How is this good news? Am I missing something?

While it may be true that this will be expensive, it has been kindof fun talking different brands and what makes one watch better than the other with my wife. Maybe she's just doing it to make me happy, but she's getting pretty smart, so maybe she is actually interested. Either way, it's fun to talk to her and look at watches together.

Thankfully my wife does not like watches yet. I've offered many times and she said no.
